STORY

FROM INDIA TO SEATTLE

The blueprint of my journey!

If someone had told me a few years ago that I'd start a tech company from scratch far from home, I would've smiled and thought, "Maybe in another lifetime."

But life had other plans.

After getting married, I moved to Seattle, pursued an MBA, and suddenly found myself navigating a new chapter all at once - learning, adapting, and figuring out where I belonged.

I wasn't fully ready. But life has a quiet way of moving you forward anyway.

The Idea That Changed Everything

Growing up, home décor was never just about how things looked. It was about how a space made you feel special. My mom always trusted her instincts. One day, after seeing a magazine ad, she decided to have a custom teakwood table made from scratch for our living room.

The idea was beautiful.

The execution… not so much.

The table arrived, and it was nothing like what she had imagined. It was bulky, awkward, and completely out of place. Eventually, it had to be taken away. We laughed about it for years.

But that moment stayed with me.

Why was it so hard to see what your dream space would actually look like before investing time, effort, and money into it? Why did creativity so often come with costly guesswork?

"Why can't I just scan this room, take out what I don't like, drop in pieces I do, and see it all come together

right here, right now?"

The Hard Stuff

What Nobody Talks About

Let me be honest. This journey? Not shiny. Not smooth. And definitely not some Instagram success story.

And then there were the doubts. The quiet voice that kept whispering, "Are you sure you can do this?"

In the middle of all that uncertainty, there was one constant: me!

In moments of overwhelm, I learned to pause.

In moments of doubt, I was brought back to my purpose.

And whenever I questioned the path ahead, I remembered that this journey was never just about me.

It was about the millions of women who carry dreams quietly: the women who were never taught to speak them out loud, to trust their ideas, or to believe that their creativity could become something real.

This belief is what keeps me moving forward.

Even on the hardest days.

Especially on the hardest days.

Because building this isn't just about creating a company. It's about creating courage, voice, and possibility. And that, to me, is worth every uncertain step.

Finding My Voice

Today, I'm building something that once lived only in my imagination.

I'm learning to speak up.

To take space.

To trust my gut, even when it's scary.

My startup isn't just a product. It's a promise. A promise that creativity belongs to everyone.

That technology doesn't have to be intimidating.

women everywhere can turn their wild, beautiful ideas into reality

one brave step at a time.

Why I'm Sharing This

I know there are so many women like me out there - crossing oceans, starting over, holding big dreams close to their chest, waiting for the "right" moment.

If reading this gives even one woman the courage to begin, or to believe in herself a little more, then every difficult day, every doubt, and every setback was worth it.

I'm still figuring things out. But now, I'm doing it with intention, purpose, and pride.

This is just the beginning for my company, my voice, and my journey as a woman determined to create beauty, not just in homes, but in her own life too.

Still Learning,

Building,

& Believing.
